Show notes

For the show broadcast between May 24th and May 30th, 2008

Well, the people at the studio were encouraged to join in and make for some interesting radio by submitting things to discuss.  Some of the jokes were just horrible, and Nick and Benjamin were temporarily admitted to an insane asylum during the following week.

Things are changing, of course, with the advent of the web.  Time is starting to become less fixed, and things are starting to bend.  People are starting to set meetings for rough times, and then pin them down later.  Other folks are realizing that one can spend hours on the web with no productivity at all.  It's a changing world out there

Stranger things were covered as well, including the bluetooth pacemaker, and the origination of the term Bluetooth, as well as a method to destroy 60 hard drives... an hour, at a pricetag that is... well, steep.  $11,500.

Of course, the myriad of callers to the show kept things hopping!  Jake wanted to know why it's so hard to cancel an AOL account, and Dan asked about the safety of leaving a computer running overnight.  Ronnie accidentally deleted Microsoft Office and wanted to know how to get it back, and B.J. wanted to know the difference between different PDF programs.  Jack asked about the best free e-mail service providers, and Gerald wanted to know about boot orders.  Kevin asked about a free alternative to Photoshop and Benjamin mentioned his ex-brother-in-law on a roundabout trip to the answer!

Nick closed out with noting that passwords are like your underwear... and that was just a little bit strange if you ask me!  Of course you can always suggest more topics or send in your questions right here.

Amazing what happens in a couple of hours, eh?
